Guna, who has a glad existence with family and sweetheart Geetha gets cornered in a homicide case. In what capacity will Guna manage the unforeseen episodes which are occurring in his life? What sort of penances he needed to make to leave the case? To know this, you need to watch the film in the performance centers close to you.
While the RX 100 was a definite fire hit and a hippie a disaster, one can still explain why Karthikeya chose these scripts. With every story of its own different from the last, Guna 369 is an attempt where he tries to pick up a script and character he hasn’t done before. But unfortunately for him, these films also depend on the director’s narrative, which is his latest offering.
Guna (Karthikeya) is a pampered man who works in a granite factory with his best friend Battu (Mahesh). Everyone in his colony has a soft spot for him, including Radha (Aditya Menon), a neighborhood goon whom he has known since childhood. Also in the story is the love of his life Geetha (Anagha) who initially seems to be present in this story only to sing duets with him, but soon shows his claws when the time comes.
Guna 369 also has a group of criminals who look and live like your average everyday man, but shoot videos of themselves raping women younger than themselves. A series of events lead to all of these storylines thanks to one character (no refresh this is not the main pair). But the journey there is tedious, long drawn and full of unnecessary duels.
Karthikeya tries his best to mold life into character, but sometimes he rises to the top. It is simple until the second half after coming into form. If you’re wondering, yes, the filmmaker still suffers from his ripped-up body. Anga, on the other hand, shines even in those parts which do not offer him much. She delivers particularly well in scenes that seem flattered to Gruna despite her character’s love story. The rest of the cast also do well with what they have to offer.
If Arjun Jandhyala weaved a commercial narrative distortion, the confusing and many messages he was trying to convey could have a chance to come through. But as dense as the film is with the sabrang dialogues, the film has no chance!
