Movie Plot in summary
In a children’s hostel for orphan girls, a 10-year-old girl named Amudha is told by caretakers that an important person is going to meet her at 10:00 the next morning. She waits, wondering who it could be.
A ton of drug smuggling vans and a group of smugglers were caught by Inspector Bejoy and his team. This drug belongs to Adikalam, which is not seen by any police officer nor does he know what it looks like. Adikalam’s brother Anbu plans to capture the police inspectors, kill them and take back the drugs from them. As per Anbu’s plan, all police officers go high and faint after consuming poisoned drinks at the high party’s retirement party. Brazo, who refrained from taking drugs because he was under drugs, escapes the plan and tries to save the lives of all unconscious officers without telling the media to the outgoing people or anyone else. He convinces Dilli, a former prisoner who happened to him, as he is detained for appearing suspicious by promising to help save the officers’ lives. K tells them he will help Dilli.
The next morning for the first time to meet his daughter Amudha, a caterer at the high official’s mansion, with the help of Lari borrowed from Kamachi. Since Kamachi has a good knowledge of routes and roads, Dilli asks them to accompany him as well. Dilli, Bijoy and Kamchori together load the unconscious bodies of the officers on the lorry and take them to the hospital as soon as possible, without letting the gangsters find their bodies.
As Anbu applied the money as a reward for capturing the policemen, the gangsters of Anbu’s gang tried to apprehend the policemen and Bejoy. He is guided by a corrupt cop (hired by Stephen Raj, a narcotics officer who works for Anbu), who is acting unconscious while informing the gangs about Laurie’s location.
Meanwhile, at Bejoy police station, the drugs are hidden with Adikalam’s men who are in custody. As Ambu and his gang take drugs and free Adikalam’s men, Bijoy Constable detains Napoleon and a group of college students for drunk driving, at the cost of closing all possible evacuees and gang-raping To try and keep outside the police station. During their own lives they wait for higher officials.
Dili, Bejoy and Kamachi arrive in various gangs, fighting over who will capture the five policemen, only to have Dili killed. Back at the station, Napoleon is asked to negotiate a deal with the people of Adikalam caught by Bayouz calling Anaku, and inform him that in return Napoleon will release the men and they release him and the students. He went away. But it is revealed that Adikalam is among those who have been caught, so they do not release him. Adaikalam tries to guide Anbu into the station, but one of the students deliberately explodes to give him loud music to listen to Adaikalam. Ambu manages to climb onto the roof and enter the station, but is subdued and chained by the students.
Dili and Kamachi manage to transfer the unconscious officers from the hospital to a school bus, so that they can continue to the station. The corrupt cop convinces them that he is fine, so they take him with them. However, they come across another gang who beat up Bejoy and the corrupt policeman stabs Dili twice. Doyle still manages to kill the police and the crooks, all the while saving Bejoy and proceeding to the station. Outside the station, Ambu’s gang manages to capture a student, and under Ambu’s orders, they kill him.
Napoleon killed Bulbul and killed Ambu with a fire extinguisher, in which Adikalam swears that he will kill them and their families. Dili, Bijoy and Kamachi make it a station. Dili alone enters the station via a secret underground passage and sends the students out through the secret passage, while he and Napoleon go to burn all the drugs, but they instead find a confiscated Gatling gun and Dilly uses it. Tend to kill outside Ambu’s gang. Bejoy thanked Dilli, and allowed him to meet his daughter Amudha.
One of the people caught tells Adikalam that Dilli, who had no connection with the gangs, was the cause of all this, to which Adikalam responds that he does not give up possibilities for the sequel.
Kathy begins with a fantastic economic setup. A police team led by Baez (Narayan) has seized a record amount of cocaine, which is hidden in a secret cell under the commissioner’s office. The drug mafia serves to seduce almost every police officer by spitting out his drink. The wounded Bejoy is jailed for Dili, a life-long prisoner, who has just come out of prison on parole and is hoping to meet a daughter he never saw, to save the situation. Meanwhile, some college students find themselves stranded in the commissioner’s office with a constable for the company, and prevent the crooks from trying and saving their boss.
Lokesh Kanraj gave it all to us in Kathy’s first 20 minutes, a tense, impressive shot action thriller. The director gives us a pure genre film minus like songs and romance, which we use in Tamil cinema. Even though we have received two hours of action scenes. We hardly feel exhausted (the excellent action choreography is by Anarbiv). Like a video game, Dilly has to overcome challenges of varying difficulty as he moves the police to safety. We get different types of stunts – a chase, a fist fight and just when they’re getting dull, a spectacular shootout. The fact that the entire film takes place at night gives it a unique flavor. As we are unsure what danger is in the dark.
Lokesh also comes up with an interesting group of characters. Such as the gangster’s temperament brother (Arjun Das), The fearless constable (George Marian), the resourceful student, the detective in both camps, and Hope’s daughter. The performances are solid all around. Narayana lends the right amount of vulnerability, adding a few moments of levity to Dheena, as the owner of a young Lauri. While Karthi, whose beef resembles what may have been a slightly older version of Dilli’s upbringing, muses. . He also takes you to the scene where he narrates his past in a long shot.
If there is a mistake, it is that the film feels too long for its genre, with some action blocks becoming over-inducible. But when this action happens that we have signed up, we cannot complain too much about it.
